From the 2014 season:
Its no small feat to be called out in the same company as some of the greatest single season basebal players of all time like Bob Hamelin (1994), Mark Fidrych (1976), and Irv Waldron (1901). But Anthony is
just that: the greatest single season little league player of all time. In that one season he got at least a base hit for every at bat, caught a few in both the
infield and outfield and had a good time with his friends on the team. He even got a game ball for two base hits, two great catches and a score in one game. Daddy (since he's a soccer coach) got
sucked in to helping at practices and pitching as it was a coach pitch league for age group 7 year olds.
But after doing so well for just one season Anthony decided he didn't want to
play going forward. (I was shocked.) He said he didn't like the experience playing a sport with his hands. (such a diva).
